two new so/on releases coming soon

It’s been a while since there was any activity here, but let’s make up for lost time shall we? In a few weeks the third and fourth releases from _fissure will be issued. First they’ll be available on our site then they’ll be available for download through itunes, emusic, amazon, etc. These will be digital download only releases.
fr003- So/On “deep end dents”
7 tracks of processed autoharp, electric guitar, field recordings and computer. Loops and layers of slow moving tones and textures.
fr004- So/On “Ke”
6 track ep of simple syncopated sine waves and filtered noise. Minimal in nature and bordering on raster-noton style techno, this release was created sporadically over a 6 week span in Europe then mixed and mastered back home in Chicago over the summer of 2009.
these will be available in limited CDR editions with letterpressed jackets (cover images different from the ones above) on the Hey! Tonal european tour from Feb 25-March 14 2010.
now that things have settled, more releases will be coming in 2010. Thanks for your patience and support.
